Day: 04 Manali—Solang Valley

Hadimba Devi Temple: – Hidimba Devi Temple, locally known as Dhungiri Temple,[1] also known variously as the Hadimba Temple, is located in Manali, a hill station in the State of Himachal Pradesh in north India. It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimba Devi, wife of Bhima, a figure in the Indian epic Mahabharata. The temple is surrounded by a cedar forest called Dhungiri Van Vihar at the foot of the Himālayas.
2. Manu Temple: – Manu Temple is believed to be the only temple of Manu in India, who is considered as the creator of the human race on earth. Located at a distance of 3 km from the main bazaar in Old Manali, the temple is believed to be the abode of Manu, the ancient law-giver of India. Folklore points to the fact that subsequent to the great flood, Manu landed at Manali and made the place his abode.
3. Tibetan Monastery: – The Tibetan monastery is one of the major tourist spot in Manali and is famous for weaving different and colourfull carpets. Residents Tibetan Monastery and immigrants of Tibet produce handmade handicrafts to attract the various tourists. Tibetan Monastery is one of the oldest and famous place in Manali.
